Itinerary

Step 1 - Arrive at Old Town Square
Make your way to Staroměstské náměstí, the main square in Prague’s Old Town. The Astronomical Clock is mounted on the south wall of the Old Town Hall, you can’t miss it. Take a moment to watch the Apostles’ Parade from the square before heading inside.
Step 2 - Enter via the priority counter
Head to the priority counter on the ground floor of the Old Town Hall. Show your e-ticket on your phone, no need to queue at the standard box office.
Step 3 - Explore the Old Town Hall
Once inside, take your time exploring the building before heading up. The entrance hall offers context on the history of the clock and the building itself.
Step 4 - Climb the tower
Make your way up to the gallery, situated at a height of 42 metres. The tower is equipped with a lift — making it the only fully accessible medieval tower in Prague.
Step 5 - Take in the panoramic view
From the gallery, enjoy a sweeping 360° view over Old Town Square and the Prague skyline. Spot the Týn Church, St. Nicholas Church, and on a clear day, Prague Castle in the distance.
Step 6 - Watch the clock from above
Look down at the Astronomical Clock from the tower gallery, a completely different perspective from the crowd below. If you time it right, you can watch the Apostles’ Parade from above at the top of the hour.

Reviews

The view from the top is absolutely worth it. Seeing the Astronomical Clock from above while the Apostles' Parade is happening is something you can't experience from the square. Stunning.

We timed our visit to coincide with the Apostles' Parade and watched it from the tower. A completely unique experience. The lift made it accessible for our whole group.
